Criticisms of Paul Offit on Autism and Vaccines (NPR, Science Friday, 1/7/2011, transcript available)

Me:  I suggest that by stimulating the immune system through vaccinations, we are triggering autism spectrum disorders. Historically, only about 7 in 10,000 people were once diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. The studies that I am familiar with that show no correlation between autism and vaccines do not have a large enough sampling to show significance. The genes for schizophrenia are found within those of the immune system. Might the genes for autism be found there too?

Me:  My mom said I knew many words before I got vaccinated and then I stopped talking for an entire year after. My first psychotic episode was during my junior year of college. Before I started a gluten and casein free diet and taking an exorphinase pill my scores on a professional intelligence assessment were that my auditory comprehension was in the bottom 1% of people where my IQ typically showed 95th percentile in most areas, meaning I had answered all the questions correctly on many of the tests that combine to make the score. However, the test revealed that I had a poor short term memory. Since the special diet my short term memory and auditory comprehension have drastically improved. That is that I understand that though the dietary changes don't work for many people, they worked for me.

Me: I listened to Offit and he misunderstands some of the fundamentals of medicine. There is not room for detail here. However, he indicates for example a belief in a common man's fallacy regarding bacteria; all bacteria are harmful. The exposure of bacteria that a newborn experiences is not relative to vaccines because the vast amount of bacteria are not harmful and thus not comparable to bacteria a child would experience from vaccination.

Me: Other Offit fallacies. Let me paraphrase, "Since childrens' immune systems are stressed, it is good to stress them out even more." And, "doctors don't do unconscionable things, especially a large mass of them." Perhaps, Offit is unaware of what masses of doctors did during the Holocaust.

Me: Yet another Offit fallacy, let me paraphrase, "At my hospital we know we have good doctors because they are all conformists. In order to be a doctor at my hospital, you must conform to our vaccination policy. That way we know you have what it takes to be on our team."

Chronology, and My Family's Esoteric Connection to Odin

“The SECOND ODIN -- the one we are interested in -- is mentioned in the Saxon Chronicle where his ancestry is given: "The Saxon Chronicle commences the LINE OF DAN I with the following two names: 'Noah, Sem.' Note: The juxtaposition of this to Magi in the New Testament makes the dates right because Mattew’s Magi are c. after 0 C.E., such that Odin, “The messiah” (king), was the generation after Magi. Odin became the messiah because he found a way to immerse himself in Torah as Adam.

Odin is Adam through cyclic history.

In a very ancient occult book we have found it stated that what God took from the side of Adam was not a rib but Lilith, who had cohabited with him and given birth to offspring. She was however an unsuitable helpmeet for Adam and therefore Scripture states, 'But for Adam there was not found a helpmeet for him' (Gen. ii. 20). This is the length of a generation. However, some people live for longer than a generation.

Adam died c. 1050 C.E.

Scholars now agree that the poems that make up the Poetic Edda were shaped between 900 and 1050. The Prose Edda was composed by an Icelandic scholar, Snorri Struluson, about the year 1220. The Poetic Edda is also known as the Elder Edda.

The Poetic Edda is Odin’s (Othin’s) (Adam’s) Torah manuscript.

This is Baldr. VOLUSPO (Poetic Edda) – Tells of the slaying of Baldr.

Baldr: The death of Baldr, the son of Othin and Frigg, was the first of the great disasters to the gods.

Was Eve the mother of Abel?

It is not clear why Tyr, who is elsewhere spoken of as a son of Othin, should here call Hymir his father. (Tyr = Tuesday) – Tyr is not Seth.

Hermoth: mentioned in the Prose Edda as a son of Othin who is sent to Hel to ask for the return of the slain Baldr.

Hermoth or Hermod is Seth.

(9) And Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Kenan.

807 + 969 = 1776 C.E. Methusaleh died (this is the same year as the Declaration of Independence [His Torah manuscript?])

Lamech born c. 995 C.E. (1777 - 182)

(29) And he called his name Noah, saying: 'This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh from the ground which YHWH hath cursed.'

Accordingly, Noah dies in the year (1777 + 350) 2127 or 2126, relative to the birth of our country.

Noah (Jacob Hamilton) born (2127 (6) – 950 = 1177 C.E.).

Jacob/David Hamilton, this man, reportedly had 6 sons? He was born David Hamilton, and then changed his name to Jacob when he went on record. Though his records are highly questionable, both Jacob and David lived in Perry Country PA, had children with the same names, Jacob begins where David leaves off during the same time period. For example, during the era where American’s were experiencing taxation without representation, he is off tax record. Another record says that he and his wife were brother and sister, even though they had different last names.

At 100 years old (relative to my family history this is 1779 C.E.), Shem gives birth to Arpachshad. Then, Genesis 11:10, this is 2 years after the flood (relative to my family history this is 1777 C.E.), but only if you consider that patriarchs are always born on the same day of the year.


(22) The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.


(17) The Sons of Shem (Levi Hamilton): Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

(24) And Arpachshad (William Newton Hamilton?) begot Shelah; and Shelah begot Eber.

(14) And Shelah (Harry) lived thirty years, and begot Eber.

Granddad Harry had Howard at age 30.

(16) And Eber (Howard) lived four and thirty years, and begot Peleg.

Dad had me at age 34. He never met his granddad.

(25) And unto Eber were born two sons; the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan. [hasn’t happened]

(18) And Peleg (Craig) lived thirty years, and begot Reu.

I, Craig, had my son at age 30, suggesting that I am of a royal lineage according to the pattern.

The number of generations match from time of the Declaration of Independence. However, not all the birthdays match. This may be because Jacob/David Hamilton’s birthday is questionable.

(20) And Reu (Alex) lived two and thirty years, and begot Serug.

My son is not yet two and thirty years old.

There was much suspicion that King James VI, the one who made the KJV “Authoritative” was an illegitimate son, and that his father of whom I am a direct descendant actually was not Scottish, but German.

On The Manifestation of Light and Darkness

One problem that has perplexed many physicists is that when you ask light a particle question, it gives a particle answer, and when you give light a wave question, it gives a wave answer.

First, forget anything you might know about physics.

How can light be both a particle and a wave? There is a simple yet profound answer. Light comes or goes from a Source as particles. Light comes or goes from a Source in waves. The same is true of darkness. It comes or goes from a Source in particles. It comes or goes from a Source in waves in the same way a boat might travel through water causing waves, which are made of particles, and additionally there are properties of waves such as canceling and doubling. Both light and darkness may even change direction. Because light and darkness may change direction, it can be observed that black holes emit a bit of light. The source of the light emitted from a black hole is due to a change of a particle emitted from a light source toward a black hole that has redirected out of the black hole’s pull. Darkness comes and goes in waves of particles, which is the same as particles of waves. Light comes and goes of waves of particles, which is the same as particles of waves. So while darkness is the absence of light, light is also the absence of darkness.

Both light and darkness, and their intermediates need a Source. The Source was once variable, having infinite possibilities. Now since the Source of the universe is outside the universe there may not be any possibilities. Possibilities are probably just mixing currents that are patterns so elaborate that they elude our thinking, giving the appearance of randomness. Light leaves its source in waves of particles, which is the same as particles of waves. Darkness leaves its Source in particles of waves, which is the same as waves of particles.

The greatest source of light known is a sun. The greatest source known of darkness is a black hole. Black holes eat light. Suns eat darkness. However, it is the Source that is the light that illumines lights, like the sun, and it is the Source created darkness that causes darkness, like a black hole. As my son said, “It is darking.” Children often say profound things. Black holes are darking. That is while the darking is technically not a word, while the sun is lighting, a black hole is darking.

The Source and its qualities are imagined outside of reality. It becomes and is whatever you create it to be. Contradictions collapse in imagination, resulting in a poorly imagined Source. The Source is both in our bodies and of our bodies, as everything we know is grayness, as neither suns nor black holes are absolute.

Women are not obligated to imagine a Source.

There may be some objection to the idea that the Source is variable. After all, is not God, “Unchangeable (Exodus 3:14 ["the unchanging, eternal, self-existent God," the "I am that I am," {Easton’s Bible Dictionary – see entry Jehovah}]), and Guide for the Perplexed by Moses Maimonides translated by M. FRIEDLANDER, PH.D [“The result of the above argument is consequently this: the sphere cannot move ad infinitum of its own accord; the Prime Motor is not corporeal, nor a force residing within a body; it is One, unchangeable, and in its existence independent of time.”])?

  • As support to the idea that God is not corporeal and that conceiving of Jesus being God is sinful for Jews, see Exodus 20:3, 4, and 5, such that there is probably (see Deuteronomy 34:7) constraint on the variability of the Source.

    It is also possible that the patriarch Terah is the last so far, patriarch 9 (Genesis 11:24), in a sequence of 10 patriarchs since the flood that generated the Torah (Pentateuch [it is possibly a Hexateuch or more if Joshua or more is includible]), as legend had it that Terah sold idols (see Genesis Rabba 38) and the “e” and “a” of Terah are vowels, just as the “o” and “a” are vowels, as vowels are usually removable in order to determine meaning of a word, giving credence to the idea that Abram or Abraham was not legitimately the tenth generation patriarch since the flood described by Noah, especially since with Abram or Abraham there is no destruction of the world scenario, as would be expected (see Antiquities of the Jews by Flavius Josephus). This possibly calls almost all into question.

    Something can be both variable and unchanging at the same time. To create darkness and then light requires some variability on the part of the Source, unchanging in its variability. It took variability for the Source to emanate the ten utterances that created the universe, and then the utterances were as the changing spit of the Almighty that created all. Then again there was unchanging variability for six of the Source’s days, then the Source remains constant on the seventh day still unchanging in variability (Genesis 2:2, 2:3 and Joshua [comment: The seventh day of God is never mentioned to have ended]), as from light and darkness everything else was created and on the seventh day the Source rests.

  • Craig Hamilton Consequently, every biblical day’s light and darkness and timing need not necessarily be equivalent, such that the Hebrew word, “Yom,” can be rendered with several meanings including “day” and “age.” As proof, it is true that in the Bible the word, “Yom,” is rendered in translation elsewhere, meaning not within the text of Genesis 1, as either “day” or “age” or some derivation of these words loosely consisting of an idea inclusive of time.

Most popular names in science, philosophy, and what not have some truth. There is a lot of sifting to do, but there is usually something there. For example, I am completely against the popularity of quantum physics. However, that is not to say that there are no uses for the study of quantum physics. The tyranny of the exactness of this foolish mathematical religion is stupid. In that range, it is hard to tell what influences what. With the rout use of the scientific method, this would most likely never have occurred. Eventually, either the math crumbles in exactness or the experimenter realizes the spiritual forces that allow these experiments to occur, with or without the scientific method.

Quantum physics is essentially variable matrix reality, which easily suffices to create science fiction.

2 and 3. One example; there are no straight lines in biology and everything else for that matter. Everything at the minute level becomes subject to trivial electromagnetic mixing currents, which might be called spiritual forces; inclusive of an idea such as whether or not one is blessed. That is, having a GPS is not enough. It also has to work for you. If there is not enough resistance in circuit between you and the GPS, it is likely to collapse and getting you nowhere.

The "straight lines" I mention are literal. The only place a straight line actually exists is in imagination. They can also be calculated with the mathematical formula y = mx + b, but they aren't realistic.

Take for instance a bow and arrow. The string, when pulled tight is a straight line, no? No, it is not a straight line because it is subject to density/buoyancy. That is, because the string is a more dense liquid, then air, also a liquid, the string becomes curved, as part of it sinks more than other parts. That is, I also disagree when science calls air a gas. Air is a liquid. Throw out gravity too. That is what got us in this mess.

The evidence of the electromagnetic mixing currents may be observed by simply pouring water through a funnel. The swirl is an elaborate pattern that is a mixing current. The swirl is an electrical current. It is not quantum indeterminacy that causes the results of your quantum physics experiments, but complex electromagnetic mixing current.

I am not the only one that criticized gravity. Einstein criticized his own theory. He sought to disprove it because thought it was wrong. If you consider him to be just anybody...

The point of the straight line argument was to show you that mathematical representations are not even close to full proof. I shouldn't use math to disprove math, as you wanted me to do. Perhaps, it is because we humans have DNA based on a four letter alphabet that we can understand the concept of a straight line or math in imagination. It takes an alphabet or 2 to understand math. It arises from a discontinuous mind.

And you are wrong about water pouring through a funnel not being an electrical current. Water is a bent molecule where negative charge collects near the oxygen of it, such that it is negative near the center and positive at the ends.. Water is most certainly charged. It's properties, such as the swirl when you pour it through a funnel arise because of charge.

You ask me to give a firm mathematical foundation where the very nature of the foundation of quantum physics, the one you believe (believed?), while rooted in mathematics, is not firm and is doublethink. Reasonably, if the nature of quantum physics is rooted in mathematics, then mathematics is not a firm foundation, especially if you believe in quantum physics.

Search the New York Times database for the word, "Gravity." You will come up with at least four articles that question it. The most recent is a 2010 article.

Your homework: study and understand string theory, by Monday morning. Oh, who am I kidding? Physicist Brian Greene is going to walk us through what he studies, what it means, and why it could mean parallel universes exist.

My First Comment:

The universe is finite. Go into a room. Shut off the lights. It is dark. At nighttime we see that it is dark. Given that, what reason do we have to believe that the universe is not contained? Matter darks the universe. Grey matter is the matter that is reflecting light. The lights in the sky are probably links to other universes.

My Second Comment:

More on the same subject. Sometimes we see what is outside our eye, while sometimes we see inwards, thought, our mind's eye. We see both waves of darkness and waves of light and their intermediates. When we see a star what we are seeing ...is a portal to the inside and the outside, in the same way that when we see an eye, what we are seeing is a portal to the inside and outside. Both light and darkness are portals made up of electromagnetic mixing currents, which are ox/redox reactions. Matter emits darkness.Light receives darkness.

Radio Station Idea – The Market on the Majors Is Cornered, Let’s focus on the Minor Leagues

Radio Station Idea – The Majors are Covered, Let’s focus on the Minor Leagues

(Note: I do not have the funds to start this.)

  1. It would be a good idea to make radio stations that broadcast local music only within the range of their antenna. This idea for a radio station that is essentially advertisements for local shows could include all types of music, profit and nonprofit. Songs of a particular band would only be played the week prior to the show. Since there are oodles of local shows, it would probably be best if a band selected a particular song that they wanted their audience to hear.
    1. Of course it would follow FCC rules.
    2. Bands that become the house band for a particular club would be heard most often, with non-regular local acts getting slightly less attention, with regional acts getting a moderate amount of attention, and national acts getting very little attention. Stations such as WPXE and many others have the market cornered on the acts that play these major venues, so devoting time to them would probably be counterproductive anyway.
    3. This radio station idea could include everything from major acts that might play something as big as Fenway Park or the Comcast Center, all the way down to local hardcore bands that play perhaps the American Legion, and even church worship teams.
    4. The music does not necessarily have to be divided into category. The shuffle button on the music player of the broadcasting radio station could simply be pressed. Shuffle buttons generally randomize music played based on a number such as 23/7.
    5. Most venues already require a band to submit a demo. These demos and even professionally produced music could be played.
    6. Songs/media would have to be 5mins or under.
    7. Additionally, community updates (perhaps weather, minor league games, church times, synagogue times, mosque times, art exhibits, etcetera could be announced).
      1. Non-profit organizations could be cut a break on price. Profit organization would pay more.
      2. Out of range? If a band such as Phish was playing the Comcast center, but that venue was out of range, they could pay for an advertisement for a much more costly price for being out of range of the radio stations antenna.
      3. Dues: venues and show coordinators might pay yearly dues to the radio station. Since, the motive of this station is to focus on minor acts, it would thus be appropriate to charge more based upon the size of the venue, and the amount of profit it generates.
      4. None of the radios station’s airtime would be free, such that if an act could only draw an audience in their living room, they would have to pay to be on the air. Charity would be accomplished through promotional merchandise, where 10% of profit would go into freebies, such as t-shirts, stickers, and if enough money was generated preferably musical instruments, scholarships, and music lessons, would be donated, etcetera. Here the idea is to enable people to get on the radio station if they work for it.

Deuteronomy 21:21, that a rebellious son should be stoned is a much maligned verse. Do not read “Child.” The verse says, “Son.” Maimonides counted the command relative to this as 106 (Leviticus 19:26, Deuteronomy 21:20). It is a negative commandment, meaning that both men and women Jews are obligated to it. Since, it is an obligation for a Jew to follow the laws of one’s country, the following is currently the correct rendering for USA citizens: “Not to eat or drink like a glutton or a drunkard (not to rebel against father or mother).” The following is text of the idea in question. 21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, that will not hearken to the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and though they chasten him, will not hearken unto them;

21:19 then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

21:20 and they shall say unto the elders of his city: 'This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he doth not hearken to our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.'

21:21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die; so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

21:22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree;

21:23 his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt surely bury him the same day; for he that is hanged is a reproach unto God; that thou defile not thy land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

Atheists often sight this to say that the Torah is cruel and immoral. Even the Talmud questions if this verse is indeed authentic. However, psychology does know of sociopaths, people born without a conscious that can never have one, and will do evil at every chance (evil rebellious children that only become evil adults). In Freudian terms, sociopaths just have an id and an ego, but no superego. That is, psychologists believe that the premise of some religions - that everyone knows right from wrong - is not true. This is an accepted psychological diagnosis, “Antisocial personality disorder,” for which there is no cure. It is not even a sociopath’s fault that he or she is a sociopath. A sociopath is completely incapable of doing a good deed. For example, a sociopath would be completely incapable of knowing G-d exists. I use this example because of its importance to Christians and Muslims, who believe faith is the most important or only way to heaven. Jews believe faith is only required for Jewish males, as in the Torah is written as a positive or masculine commandment (Exodus 20:2). The rendering of this command should be, “To know that G-d exists,” and Maimonides counted it as the first of the 613 commandments of the Torah. According to the Torah, faith is not required in order for one to be a righteous gentile. According to the Talmud, righteous gentiles have a place in the hereafter. Belief in the hereafter, the resurrection of the dead (Book of Daniel) is number 13 of Maimonides 13 Principles. And additionally, faith is not required of Jewish women. A sociopath would commit any of the following commands which the Torah (Mosaic books) says should be universal to humanity.

1. Prohibition of Idolatry: You shall not have any idols before God.

2. Prohibition of Murder: You shall not murder. (Genesis 9:6)

3. Prohibition of Theft: You shall not steal.

4. Prohibition of Sexual Promiscuity: You shall not commit any of a series of sexual prohibitions, which include adultery, incest, bestiality and male homosexual intercourse.

5. Prohibition of Blasphemy: You shall not blaspheme God's name.

6. Dietary Law: Do not eat flesh taken from an animal while it is still alive. (Genesis 9:4)

7. Requirement to have just Laws: You shall set up an effective judiciary to enforce the preceding six laws fairly.

I will add that though several of these Noachide laws are in the 10 Commandments, Christians generally do not believe in the 10 Commandments, such as those of times and seasons regarding the Sabbath. Shabbat observance requires the following:

a. Not to travel on Shabbat outside the limits of one's place of residence (Ex. 16:29)

b. To sanctify Shabbat (Ex. 20:8)

c. Not to do work on Shabbat (Ex. 20:10).

d. To rest on Shabbat (Ex. 23:12; 34:21).

e. Not to inflict punishment on Shabbat (Ex. 35:3) (because some punishments were inflicted by fire) (negative).

Most Christians that believe that the Sabbath is Sunday fail to observe the Laws of Sabbath right from the start, merely by getting in their car and traveling from town to town to get to Church that day (Exodus 16:29). Muslims believe the Sabbath is on Friday. According to the Torah, Shabbat observance is only a requirement for Jews. Observance of Shabbat (Sabbath) and Kashrut (Kosher) are the most important definers of Jews, according to the Talmud, and Orthodox rabbis’ expect those righteous gentiles converting to Judaism to observe these laws first and foremost. In Orthodox Judaism, converts are also expected to be more sincere than their fellow Jews, although convert is a lower Talmudic caste than Israelite.

There is no diagnosis most psychologists believe is more despicable, as even psychologists usually don’t have compassion for sociopaths and this is the only diagnosis, which they commonly feel this way about. A psychologist would be more likely to say murder should be forgiven, than say that sociopath is not a waste of flesh. Psychologists generally respond with compassion for every other psychological disease.

The Torah requires three eye witnesses to put someone to death, a trial, and several other measures, such as a warning and an acceptance of a warning (intent), and that the person does it anyway after the warning, to prevent a miscarriage of justice. Assuming, Judaic law (a utopian ideal for me), I believe that if three psychiatrists (read “elders” Deuteronomy 21:20) diagnose a child as a sociopath, then that child, if a boy (defined as under the age of thirteen), should be put to death, as the world is better off without him.

I do not believe in capital punishment by pelting anyone with stones. Rather, I believe sociopaths should be put to death by lethal injection. The Talmud says that, “When one sins it is as if their heart turns to stone.” Thus, I believe death by lethal injection is humane and correct replacement to the old way of pelting criminals with stones, as lethal injection causes a person’s heart to turn to stone.

Earlier I mentioned Maimonides Thirteen Principles. I am not sure if they are in the Talmud, a part of the Jewish canon, but they are commentary on the Mishnah, of which rabbinical commentary often canon. As far as I know, only the complete Talmud Bavli (Babylonian Talmud) is available in English in the public domain, so I am unable to check this. Maimonaides commented on a later Talmud, as he lived in the middle ages. Each country that the Jews have been in has had its own Talmud. Another famous ancient Talmud is the Jerusalem Talmud. The Thirteen Articles of Jewish faith are:1. Belief in the existence of the Creator, be He Blessed, who isperfect in every manner of existence and is the Primary Causeof all that exists.2. The belief in G-d's absolute and unparalleled unity.3. The belief in G-d's noncorporeality, nor that He will beaffected by any physical occurrences, such as movement, orrest, or dwelling.4. The belief in G-d's eternity.5. The imperative to worship Him exclusively and no foreign falsegods.6. The belief that G-d communicates with man through prophecy.7. The belief that the prophecy of Moses our teacher haspriority.8. The belief in the divine origin of the Torah.9. The belief in the immutability of the Torah.10. The belief in divine omniscience and providence.11. The belief in divine reward and retribution.12. The belief in the arrival of the Messiah and the messianicera.13. The belief in the resurrection of the dead.

My comment on principle 13: The world is absurd. It is in fact so absurd that the Prophet Daniel’s resurrection of the dead will not occur (Book of Daniel – Jewish and Christian canon).

The laws of Moses with reference to G-d are:

Social Security and Pets

Social Security and Pets
Many people have pets. Many people receive a social security check. However, most people feel more strongly either way about whether or not social security is a good thing or a bad thing. Social security is when adults receive a check for being over the age of 65 or having a disability. Many people sense that there is something outright wrong with receiving a check for having a disability. This is essentially the idea of rewarding the lame. It is pure communism.
What if we view social security as something different? What if we view social security in a similar way to society having pets? Yes, people on social security get something for nothing, but pets do to! This is not about livestock, grown to be slaughtered, but about pets. What makes a pet a pet is that it is an animal solely for the purpose of enjoyment. Having social security is as giving care for pets.Few are the people rejoicing at the sufferings of individuals, but rather the kindhearted reach out to individuals in need. There is a certain enjoyment, or reward in doing this. It is the reward for doing a good deed, and social security is just that. It is the same as providing good care for a pet, maybe a home for a stray, that the animal did nothing personally to merit. Through these eyes, social security should be nothing but pure reward for caring individuals. These would be the kind people that see that no person out of reason would injure himself/herself for the purpose of receiving money or needs to suffer unduly because in the life they received the shortest straw.

What Do Moses, Paul, Martin Luther, and Shabbatai Tzvi have in Common with Me?
When I was 21 years old, I thought I heard the voice of G-d in my bedroom. I was living a horrible life. I had chosen immorality over morality, or at least so I thought. This made me very receptive to Christianity given all the letters that have lists of immoral things, and urgings not to do them. Even my conception of what people thought of G-d was different from mine. I thought of G-d as weak. Then, it happened, I heard the voice of G-d in my bedroom and G-d said, “I AM punishing you.” I then shouted back at G-d, “Why are you punishing me?” This incident began my journey to study about G-d. I was essentially trying to be a good person in order to avoid the punishment of G-d, which is a very Jewish idea. In the end, because I was concerned with justice and accuracy, the Old Testament won me over, and I stopped believing in the New Testament. This essentially makes me a Jew both in a legal sense, and a sense of identifying with suffering, such that I often find my identity among Jewish people. Several things happened to me after I thought I spoke with G-d. One was that I saw a good doctor that essentially worked what I would call a miracle. Judaism is very much a religion of reward and punishment, and I believe I got my reward.
There is one thing different about me now, than how I was then. I have quit medication twice, and both times I hallucinate, usually spiritual visions. The doctor that worked wonders has been unable to cure me completely. As usual, I think I have been cured now, but now my family actually agrees. However, the thing is that the medicine cures the hallucinations. How can it possibly be true if the medicine cures it? Consequently, I have ruled out that I actually spoke with G-d. This makes it somewhat possible to rule out that anyone has spoken with G-d too, as the alternative is that mostly people psychologists deem as psychotic speak with G-d, such that I have not ruled out this speech to me means that I am on the level of Moses. I say this because it was said that G-d spoke face to face with Moses. How can Moses be any different from me? My guess is that Moses also suffered from hallucinations, but that some, if not all of them were beneficial to his life. My study of religion has also proved beneficial to my life, or at least so I think.
The funny thing is that history is littered with semi-psychotic geniuses, such as Moses. Since, I saw this doctor I mentioned above, nobody I recall has questioned that I am in fact among the most intelligent men of the world. However, there is one thing that I lack, and the great semi-psychotic geniuses also seem to lack it, and that is executive skills. This idea of ADHD or ADD seems to be in the greats, such as Martin Luther. In fact, one of my criticisms of Torah is that it is poorly ordered. Paul, the man who is more responsible for Christianity than anyone else also suffered from this orderliness problem. His writings in the New Testament are usually very disorderly. I admit; Romans is quite good. To some people this makes them seem all the greater! I am not one of those people. I feel perfectly comfortable not worshipping anyone or criticizing what I see as having flaws. Writing doesn’t have to be perfect in order to be quite good. Paul also had the hallucinations too, the same types of hallucinations that I have.
Paul is to Judaism what Martin Luther is to Catholics. I argue that these two individuals are more important than the actual individual they are promoting, Jesus. Jesus was a relatively unknown Van Gogh before Paul began persecuting him, and thus popularizing him. Both Peter and James and the others are replaceable, but Paul was the innovator that created an entirely new religion! I say this because Jesus never left any written document or even had a coherent document written by an eye witness written about him. Really, Jesus is just another false messiah, most likely crazy like Paul, but it is the book of Romans that Paul wrote that is a solid, although incorrect argument. Anyone without prior knowledge of Judaism would probably buy that argument, Romans; such that is was not only Paul’s writing, but his incredible charisma.
Shabbatai Tzvi like the greats probably had bipolar, but he caused much strife. He thought he was the Jewish messiah and led the people astray. This is rather common among people that have bipolar. I suggest that if Moses walked into a psych ward today, then he would be diagnosed with bipolar. If we take him, Moses, to be the author of the Torah, then there are very bipolar features to his writing. There is a manic portion of reward if you follow G-d, but then there is a punishment portion, if you do not follow G-d. Isaiah also knew of this, as it is often said that his idea of the suffering servant was not for the messiah, but was a reason for the suffering of the Jewish nation, which the sins of many Jews end up causing the punishment of the righteous Hassidic Jews.
In fact, I have thought I am the messiah before too. Somehow I just can’t get the idea out of my head even though, I, personally, don’t believe a messiah will come anymore. It’s just impossible. Too much is expected. I see it as something that arises out of a need for religious people to be somewhat futuristic, just as Christians await the second coming of Jesus.
