The President’s Death Squads and the Threat this Is to Intellectuals

The President’s Death Squads and the Threat this Is to Intellectuals
Reuters and Huffington Post report that President Obama now has his own death squad where he can kill people, including citizens, just because he feels like it. If he really wants to save our country, then he is absolutely confused. Actions such as this bring about the demise of countries. The Soviet Union fell in this manner. However, this has made me reconsider going to see GWAR.
History says that when every government goes, the period of anarchy that follows is short, and then order is reestablished. I wish I could say that the government my teachers taught me about when I was in grade school is the government we have now, but our government is not great. I look forward to another government, one that is more firmly built on ethics than this one, and one that knew the same freedom that allowed the people to hang out at a silly shock rock show where fake blood is spilled and the band dresses up in costume such as GWAR.
If I go down, I’d rather it be for writing a blog like this one, than going to see GWAR. As much as I love GWAR, I owe it to Alex not to put myself at the risk of being assassinated over seeing a GWAR concert. This infernal kill list is not trial by jury, not that trial by jury is good, but mostly it is not due process. I don’t want him to think, daddy was killed because he was a fan of GWAR, a band with spooky costumes, and I also don’t want to be the man in hiding because he drew some foolish cartoons about the prophet Mohammed.
I would put myself at risk for furthering good causes, but GWAR is but a way I like to spend my free time. I can sacrifice the way I spend my free time, which is sacrificing my right to pursue happiness for the sake of my son, but don’t expect me to like it. Why? Isn’t GWAR legal? With these new kill squads, it doesn’t matter what is legal and what is not anymore. You could be a perfectly good, observe the laws of your country, etc, but this is no longer a way to save yourself from being put on the kill list.
The President is a sick man. He is most certainly sick for thinking such a death squad as the one he has created won’t get into the wrong hands. Our government is not guided by Gd. It is too fallible. The best things our government can offer are things like due process, religious freedom, and the right to pursue happiness. From what I have seen, the wrong hands are his hands.
When the President makes rules such as these and is not impeached for it, it is the sign that we have a government of cowards. A government of people that are afraid of the people. Perhaps, they are afraid for good reason. I have heard it said that the innocent don’t run when the police come. This time the people are the police, and the government is the criminals. What keeps them on the wrong side of the Law is that they are afraid. They are afraid of losing things like their paychecks. They are afraid, such that they need protection from the people. And, they are afraid that if they don’t stick together, no one will stand up for them.
In my opinion, this kill list will probably be set up to kill people that are not criminals, but it is essentially an anti-intellectual list. This is a list that makes it a crime to know what the government deems as too much. Historically, governments have often feared the intellectual more than anyone else. For example, look how much we feared Osama bin Laden! He, himself, was not being known for being someone that shot and killed people, and yet he was a target. The only things that he did that I know of was making some videos and sound recordings. Those are not crimes, and in my opinion Osama bin Laden was a martyr. If our government truly believed in freedom of speech, then we would not have been after Osama bin Laden, we would have been after someone else because all Osama did was open his mouth and share media for the cause that he believed in.
The patriots that support the government of the USA are no longer the “Normal” people. The majority is fed up and wants change.
Though I wield no gun and won’t ever, I stand against the government now. The government in its entirety is my enemy. As we know, the word “Threat,” the one these kill lists are using is very ambiguous. Now, your very life depends on that you are not a threat. Truthfully, the government could deem anyone to be a threat, from me who is only writing a program on a word processor that is not even pirated to someone known to have plotted to kill government officials.
Sometimes I feel like the world is like the primitive video game Ghetto Blaster for the Commodore 64. The world is full of tone deaf walkers that want to damage my ghetto blaster, when I just want to get em’ dancing.
There is a video game I remember that comes to mind from my childhood. It wasn’t very popular, but it describes how I feel. The video game was called, “Ghetto blaster.” I had it for the Commodore 64, way back when. In the video game, you had a ghetto blaster, which was a kick ass stereo designed to get people in the video game dancing. However, it wasn’t like the modern games where there was always a way to win or at least I never found a way to win at it. In life, there is not always a way to win. That is why we believe in heaven. Yet, though there was no way to win, there was a way to lose. In the game, it was inevitable that a “Tone deaf walker,” would damage your ghetto blaster and damage it. I’ll say it this way. Right wing America are as the “Tone deaf walkers” that seem to want to damage my ghetto blaster and spoil my fun. Though they might view this harmless video game as harmless, let me tell you, they have their own ghetto blasters. Their ghetto blasters are rhetoric about Jesus, such as evangelism, talking in tongues, and baptism. Though I personally don’t like it, this the type of stuff that should be legal in a free country, but they are evil because they deem the music on my ghetto blaster, such as Cannibal Corpse, another silly shock rock band, to be immoral. Fight the establishment! Though Barrack Obama isn’t one of them, he is facilitating their cause in the future. Barrack Obama is on the wrong side of God’s Law and should be impeached for his actions.
President, Barrack Obama, threat, death squad, kill list, government of cowards, intellectual, freedom of speech, Soviet Union, due process, pursuit of happiness, Osama bin Laden, GWAR, Ghetto Blaster, Commodore 64, Reuters, Huffington Post, trial by jury, right wing, change, the prophet Mohammed, cartoons, Jesus, evangelism, talking in tongues, baptism, impeach

Having a Voice, Quoting and Facebook – Popularity, Obscurity, the Role of Corporate America, and Study

Having a Voice, Quoting and Facebook – Popularity, Obscurity, the Role of Corporate America, and Study
Some people put a lot of quotes on Facebook. Some of them are cool, but for the most part I would rather people think for themselves and put it in their own words. I feel bad for the people that only post quote after quote and never seem to find their own voice. I hope that they are able to find it someday.
There are some great quotes and this one applies. “I found a voice in what you call noise,” by the local hardcore band Rebound from their song I Found a Voice. I think the record label was Sektion 8. Sektion 8 had some great cds. My personal favorite was “No One in Control” by Drained. There is probably no reason why Rebound didn’t make it big except that corporate America wasn’t into marketing that style yet, way back when I was in High School.
Why haven’t you heard of Sektion 8 Records? Blame that on corporate America too! This song was clean enough to be on the radio, no swears, but corporate America wouldn’t have it, so the people that pulled the strings, corporate America, had reduced Rebound to an act that couldn’t get much more of a following than one that could fill a garage.
Some idiots would blame Rebound for that, but the fact is that they don’t know the power of corporate America. This is equivalent to someone that blames the victim, rather than blaming the perpetrator. Corporate America decides who gets the best musical equipment. They usually decide who gets gigs beyond those at the local bar. They decide who gets to be on the top 40 (You can’t tell me that anyone becomes a national act because they were able to promote themselves unless they were independently rich.). If you have heard it on the radio, then it was almost certainly the result of a decision made by corporate America.
Want to know what success is in the music industry? Success is a fluke! The people that have are not always the people that deserve. The radio would have us think that good music is scarce, so they play a lot of junk on the air and mix it in with the occasional good song.
Usually, the songs that are remembered are in fact good songs. They do stand out against the backdrop of junk on the radio and for good reason. The reason is that capitalism is evil. Capitalism deceives the people into thinking that there is not a lot of good music and they do this because rarity affects the value of things.
Take for instance Magic the Gathering cards. No person in their right mind will argue that a common is more likely to be expensive than a mythic rare! Don’t get me wrong, to me it seems completely reasonable for MTG to create artificial rarity to improve the game, but that is because it doesn’t victimize anyone one. In fact, just the opposite, it helps employ people in meaningful jobs, and add meaning to collections that support collector and dealer alike.
What determined the value of that card but how many times corporate America felt like printing it! Guess what, Lady Gaga is a mythic rare in the radio world. Dave Matthews was a mythic rare to the radio world, and so on, but this is artificial rarity for the purpose of making a profit, and this sort of artificial rarity is bad because it makes victims. Why? It is not fair. Every musician that could sell or practices, but the music industry doesn’t market has been had. I believe that it is the people that practice and who are gifted at expressing themselves through music theory that should be rewarded. Reward doesn’t have to be relative to audience size. However, such people deserve to be financially compensated for their hard work. Being popular is also hard word. Some music is more about image than sound, and it is hard to be about image just the way it is with sound, but in the end it is the same, I want for the person that is gifted and works hard at what they do best to be rewarded. If one ventures outside of the world of the radio, bands like these are actually more common than one might think. So in order to keep the prices on records and music high, the music industry deceives the masses that good music is rare. If you are a capitalist, then that is good business, but if you want to hear good music, then you are probably angry.
Let’s examine what the rarity system of Magic the Gathering means as it relates to news media, specifically with respect to the Occupy Wall Street movement. The news media only covers what will make a profit for it, usually what brings in advertisers. Guess what, the Occupy Wall Street movement is broke. They don’t have money. So, why would they be covered in the news? Advertisers will rarely pay to be on news that is anti-corporation. It should be obvious why. It is self defeating when the news says that people hate corporations, and your corporation is the one that is advertised. You might as well put a kick me sign on yourself. However, there is a backdoor that the Occupy Wall Street has to get coverage. It is violence! Remember Ice T when he started the band Body Count? One of the not so great, but very popularized songs from the album was “Cop Killer.” Killing a cop is the equivalent of generating a mythic rare. It would be extremely valuable for news media to cover the Occupy Wall Street movement if they killed a cop. Like any good deck, it probably isn’t made up of all mythic rares. For example, you might have some rares such as police firing tear gas, presidential address, or stand offs between police and protestors. You might have some uncommons such peaceful protest or right wing criticism. And, maybe a few commons such as, angry interview, intelligent interview, and/or interview of fool.
Sometimes, these days, I get bored and put a quote on Facebook myself, stuff that has generally meant a lot to me through the years, like this line by Rebound. Quoting is defiantly historically well founded as a good means to get a message across. Just as bad Presidents use quotes, even good Presidents sometimes quote. It’s not that I am anti-quoting. It’s that I feel bad for the people that over quote. For the most part though, I am sure that this is just a phase that they are going through. What is even better is that many of these people that post a lot of quotes are studying word combinations that have proven more effective to improving the human condition than wars. And, what is best is that through study, these people that frequently post quotes are on the path to develop their own voice.

Collected Facebook Comments on the Occupy Wall Street Movement 10/4 – 10/5, 2011

Some of My Collected Comments on the Occupy Wall Street Movement 10/4 – 10/5, 2011
sometimes the haves are not the people that deserve and sometimes the have nots are the people that deserve. in this world the key is put into our hands. we can either do something to make things right or choose not to. i applaud all the people that stand up for what is right and I encourage everyone to measure their neighbor by how much they give and not what they get. and to the person that would give but is physically or mentally incapable of giving as much as their neighbor but would if they could, it is just as if they have given just as much as the person who seemingly has everything to give
We will not fail. Our success does not rest on the success of a leader. Everyone in the movement is a part of the team. Leaders are too easily put out of commission, but groups cant fail when any one individual fails.
‎1% of the people have too much!
Isn't this what Occupy Wall Street is saying and yet when I Google Occupy Wall Street, the news sources are telling me that this movement is a joke? The news is lying. Occupy Wall Street is a coherent movement. So what if it doesn't have a leader! Not having a leader makes it stronger. If a movement has a leader then when the leader is stopped or assassinated then it dies. Leaders are to easily put out of commission, but a group of people with the same ideas and they don’t have to be perfectly similar is stronger because it is more difficult to stop. you can stop any one person, several people or even many people but the movement won’t lose momentum.
Craig Hamilton movements with leaders are too easily put down. all you have to is put down the leader or install a fake one. perhaps what put the brakes on the tea party was the installation of a pathetic leader, Sarah Palin, to their cause. this is the power that the 1% have that control the media. they can put terrible leaders into good causes by giving them financial backing. the strength of occupy wall street is that it has no leader.
Craig Hamilton the 99% are the ones that can be replaced by computers. doctors wake up. these people are you too. the current model, capitalism, treats people as supply. people are not supply! guess what the clock is ticking and humans are becoming obsolete. we owe it to ourselves to not treat each other as supply
Craig Hamilton the 1% used their financial power to put Sarah Palin as the leader of the tea party. the 1% sabotaged the tea party by giving it a terrible leader. we are the occupy wall street movement. a leader does not speak for us. we have mouths. we speak for ourselves.
one person is never able to do the work of 475 people, yet you would think so if pay scales were fair. this is my promise to that 1 person of the 475 that has the ability to share the wealth and not be greedy: YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED FOR THERE WILL COME A TIME WHEN A COMPUTER CAN DO YOUR JOB LIKE IT CAN DO THE REST OF OUR JOBS. We are the 99%. WE can be replaced and you the 1% that oppresses us will be replaceable too!
Craig Hamilton There is definitely something self defeating about the idea of this movement getting a leader. This is how it would likely go. The movement accepts someone as their leader. Now she needs to get elected. Now she needs campaign contributions. Now she sells out some thinking that that she will still be able to accomplish something. One thing leads to another and nothing gets accomplished.
Craig Hamilton the 1% would love to sabotage this movement by giving it one of their leaders in the same way they sabotaged the tea party by making Sarah Palin its leader. the 1% control the media. they want to install their leaders. and the list of complaints that the 99% has is massive. this list is too massive to be organized
One reason we can be sure that Occupy Wall Street is important is that people are knocking it. Like the professors that grade a student too harshly for wanting to change the establishment, the press and others have been knocking this group since day one. They say Occupy Wall Street is too this or too that. They don't play by the rules. They are too unorthodox. They are x, so they can't. They are y, so they can't. They are z, so they can't. But, let me tell you all the criticisms Occupy Wall Street is getting are nothing but the earmarks of a group that has great potential, the kind that makes history.
Craig Hamilton What gives with the technical difficulties on Facebook on the subject of occupy wall street? they aren't letting me like or comment many times now.
Craig Hamilton what gives Facebook is not letting me like your comments? corporations are still trying to keep us from succeeding. senator sanders says this movement has millions of followers not thousands.
Craig Hamilton I think that either Facebook or the government is already trying to stop this movement by making it seem less popular than it really is. for example, sometimes my comments have been blocked and Facebook blocks me from using the like button as often as i would like to on this subject.
Craig Hamilton re roger yours is just one of the many comments I have tried to like but have been prevented from doing so. in my opinion this is Facebook trying to quash this movement.
Occupy Wall Street, leader, direction, coherent, Facebook, haves, have nots, Sarah Palin, robots, obsolete, quash, criticism, criticism refuted, 1%, we are the 99%
