Anarchy and Why Great Men Will Never Have Great Grades:

The short answer is misbehavior, and the time it takes to learn from it. No society ever rewards misbehavior, but it is those who gather something from their misbehavior that always achieve what is great.  This is the teaching power of anarchy. That is a man who was busy misbehaving will never have good grades. In misbehavior, one leaves the page of study and enters the school of hard knocks. The school of hard knocks always provides one with a greater education than a book ever will, but books are excellent at recording information learned in a school of hard knocks. Thus, a book smart person will never have the advantage of knowledge, which is the hurt that comes with life lessons. This is not to say beating of one’s self builds character. It is the opposite, a person whom trouble finds, but not a person whom finds trouble. That is in youth, we find trouble, but in adulthood, trouble finds us as we look for a way out. One who wears grey hairs of longevity from survival of such situations would be a graduate of such a school. He or she may have no book, or academic insight.
